Crime Watch

Purpose

Crime Watch is an app designed to give users the ability to view violent crimes in the greater Chicago area, as well as report crimes and add to our database. Work with the Chiago PD Crimes Reports Database, we were able to create a heat map with Google Maps API and show areas in which residents and tourists should avoid.

My Role

I designed the site, helped create and seed the database, and I also worked with Google Maps API and was able to create a responsive map displaying all crime data we had available
